Frequently asked questions
Does Google Merchant Center accept this feed?
Yes. The Google profile produces RSS 2.0 with the `g:` namespace exactly as Google documents it. Add the feed URL as a scheduled fetch.
Can I reuse the Google feed for Meta?
Yes. Upload it in Commerce Manager and choose "Google Merchant Center" as the format, or create a separate Meta profile.
Is Cimri supported?
Yes. Cimri's official format is Google RSS with prices in TRY including VAT; the Cimri profile enforces both and ends the URL with `.xml`.
What about Akakçe?
Akakçe uses its own schema with shipping cost and dispatch days. Buinbu XML Feed produces it and warns about the most common rejection reasons. Akakçe sends the field list after store approval; confirm your fields with them.
How does import match products?
Barcode first, then SKU, then the source product ID stored on the Shopify product. Conflicts are reported, not written.
Will import overwrite my edits?
No. New products are created as drafts. For existing products you choose which fields to update (price, stock, title, description, images).
How fast do feeds update?
On a schedule set by your plan and, on Growth and Scale, within minutes after a product changes.
What happens if I exceed a plan limit?
Feeds keep updating for 7 days while we warn you. After that the last good file stays online until you upgrade. We never publish a truncated feed.
